Dr. Buchanan is very involved in the community. Sponsoring the school teams of her patients, she has awarded orthodontic scholarships to deserving patients nominated by school peers since 1998.
A former board member of both McKinney Chamber of Commerce and McKinney Education Foundation, Dr. Buchanan is a member of McKinney Rotary Club and Stonebridge Ranch Ladies Association.
