Dr. Buchanan is passionate about various local charities such as North Collin County Habitat for Humanity, The Boys & Girls Club of Collin County and Collin County Children's Advocacy Center.
Recently, she has donated orthodontic treatment for the Lost Boys of Sudan, a group of boys relocated to the Dallas area after surviving the horrors of war in Africa.
